Sardines “Carpione” with vegetables, raisins and pine nuts

These sardines are gently pan-fried and coated in a marinade of wine vinegar, vegetables and pine nuts. "Carpione" is a traditional method of food preparation that dates back years and is well known across Northern Italy in several variations.

Ingredients: SARDINES 29% (origin: FAO 37.2.1 Italy), water, wine vinegar (CONTAINS SULPHITES), CELERY, carrots, onions, sunflower seeds oil (high oleic), extra virgin olive oil, durum WHEAT semolina flour, pine nuts1,1% (origin: China), raisins 3% (origin: Turkey), salt.
Allergens: FISH, CELERY, SULPHITES, GLUTEN.
Preparation's instruction: Open the package and heat in the microwave for 3 minutes to a maximum of 750w; or taste at room temperature. Enjoy!

Jar's opening instruction: You may find our jars are a bit difficult to open? That is a good sign! As you know our product don’t contain any preservative or additive. To guarantee the maximum protection of the true freshness of our products, our jars are put under vacuum, therefore strongly sealed. If you cannot open easily, this is just a further positive sign of this freshness preservation.
Once taken out the jar from the box try to slightly unlock the cap. If it is hard to open, use a rounded kitchen tool, like the handle of a spoon, and make leverage under the cap. When you hear the noise of the air coming out, unscrew the cap, that will be now very easy to open!
