Apparently it may seem like a Sacher in reality the Savoy cake is a typical Sicilian dessert, it is said that it was made to celebrate the annexation of Sicily to the Kingdom of Italy. It consists of layers of biscuit that alternate with a soft and delicious cream made with chocolate and hazelnuts.
