Before dipping our pens in ink, we will focus on our position, grip and posture - which are the three essential foundations of calligraphy. Modern calligraphy offers a contemporary and personalised take on the traditional art form. It bridges the gap between ancient practices and the present day, making it accessible to anyone. Most of my students join the classes to improve their handwriting - to be able to personalise their greeting cards or even work on their own wedding stationery. Additionally, engaging in calligraphy can offer a calming and mindful experience, providing a much-needed escape from the fast-paced demands of everyday life.
The workshop takes place at the boutique in London, located at Clifford Street, 3 London W1S 2LF, United Kingdom, with a duration of 3 hours (2 hours of full immersion + 1 optional hour for a boutique tour and related explanation).
